The wedding stationery design process
We work on a bespoke basis so depending on your individual requirements, the wedding stationery design process can take between 6 - 8 weeks. However, we would recommend enlisting our help as soon as possible to avoid any unforeseen delays and to ensure everything for your big day comes together as seamlessly as possible.
Our design process can be explained in three simple steps.
We will begin the process with a discussion of your requirements and the design brief. We’ll form an understanding of exactly what materials you would like designed as well as your preference of colours and themes.
We’ll also ask you whether you have seen any ideas that have inspired you, whether these are from Google, Pinterest, Instragam, our portfolio or anywhere else.
These initial communications can take place remotely via email, over the phone or Zoom, or if you are based locally, we are happy to arrange a face-to-face meeting.
Once we’ve gathered all this information, we’ll set out everything that has been agreed in a contract and provide you with a quote. If you are happy to proceed, we will need 50% of the fee to be paid upfront.
This is where the ideas begin to come to life! We’ll ask you to supply us with all the relevant information you would like to be included on your wedding stationery. For example, for a bespoke wedding invitation design, we would require the date of the wedding, venue details and an RSVP address amongst other things. We ask that these are provided in a PDF or Word file.
Once we have everything we need, we’ll begin to conjure up some design ideas. We know that this is your big day and you need everything to be perfect. So, we like to work collaboratively to ensure a stress-free and efficient service.
We allow up to three rounds of feedback and changes so we can meet a final design that all parties are happy with.
This final stage of the process is where we arrange the print and delivery of your wedding stationery. But before any artwork is sent to print, we do require the remaining 50% of the fee to be paid.
To ensure your materials reach you on time, we’ll keep you updated at every stage.
